2000’s was an era in music that gave birth to some incredibly talented singer and songwriters in R&B and Pop. The charts were filled with a variety of music, that wouldn’t necessarily resonate with what’s on radio today.
Sadly many of such talented artists haven’t been able to sustain their careers in the long rain, and we have seen them going into oblivion, especially from the viewpoint of mainstream Pop success.
Take for example – Joss Stone.
The Grammy winning singer, who rose to fame in the early 2000’s with her critically acclaimed albums, ‘The Soul Sessions’ and ‘Mind, Body & Soul’, the latter of which also sprouted the the international hit single – ‘You Had Me’, is blessed with one of the most unique and soulful vocal gifts of last 20 years.
